Aylesbury Town need an influx of new players to drive the club forward after their disappointing relegation on Saturday.
Town dropped through the Four Counties Division Two trapdoor after a 165-run defeat to Biddenham in a game they had to win.
It marked a sad end to a season which had promised so much and is a step back for a club that has been used to promotion after coming back from the cricket wilderness in recent years.
Captain Paul Cherry said the weather and player availability played a big part in their relegation.
“It’s a really disappointing conclusion to our season and a setback on our plans to improve. At the start of the season we were positive that we would improve on previous seasons. We always welcome new players but could do with an influx in players to take us forward and provide further strength in depth.”
