A man and woman from Stoke Mandeville have pleaded guilty to several counts of allowing a sheep to suffer in pain.
John Cooper, 59, and Christine Cooper, 57, of Hall End Farm, Lower Road, caused unneccessary suffering to a white-faced ewe sheep between February 2 and February 5.
At Aylesbury Magistrates Court they admitted not seeing that the animal had adequate veterinary care, failing to provide it with suitable food and ready access to fresh water and not protecting it from pain caused by an untreated ulcerated right eye and untreated osteoarthritis in its leg joints.
They will be sentenced on August 16.
The case was brought by the RSPCA.
