A lorry jackknifed on Elmhurst Road and shed a chemical load this morning (Tuesday).
Police and Bucks Fire were at the scene near Bierton Road and the roundabout by Aylesbury Prison at 7.25am.
A 150kg drum on the lorry was leaking onto the road and firefighters used an environmental pack to isolate a drain and absorb the product. The chemical in the drum is used in the printing industry.
County council officials are clearing the road and granules have been put down.
One lane was closed coming into Aylesbury from Bierton.
