A well organised criminal gang stole jewellery, cash and even a bedside lamp from a house during a burglary that included four thieves and a getaway driver.
The men forced open an upstairs window at the home in Summerleys Road, Princes Risborough, and once inside stole rings, bracelets, bangles, cufflinks and a pair of sunglasses.
A witness said they saw a suspicious man knocking on the front door before a short time later a silver Audi S4 estate drove past and blasted its horn for a long time.
Four white men, between 20 and 30-years-old, ran out of the house and towards Longwick to be picked up by the getaway driver.
All four were about 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins and wearing dark clothing and baseball caps. One of the caps may have been red.
The first man to knock on the door was white, in his early twenties, about 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins, of a chunky and sturdy build, with short wavy red hair. He had a wide face and was clean shaven.
The burglary was at 2.15pm on March 19 police said today (Wednesday).
