A woman was threatened with a knife and punched in the face while walking her dog in an Aylesbury park during broad daylight.
The 24 year old was in the Coppice park, off Meadow Way, when a man approached her, spoke to her and then threatened her with a knife and punched her before running off towards Aylesbury Road.
Nothing was taken from the victim but she suffered a cut to her chin and a bruised cheek.
The attack happened at around 11am on Thursday, March 21, police said today (March 27).
The offender was white, in his mid 20s, 5ft 10ins and of medium build.
He was wearing a black woolly hat which he had pulled down to just above his eyes and a black scarf covering his mouth and nose.
He was also wearing a thigh-length black coat with elasticised cuffs and black tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe and white trainers.
