Mr Alexander’s unmissable travelling show was one of the highlights at the Christmas Fair on Sunday.
The event in Market Square, which used to be known as the Victorian Christmas Fair, was arranged by Aylesbury Town Council.
Organiser Alan Norchi said: “I think it was the most popular event of the year, there was a fantastic atmosphere in the square.
“Mr Alexander did his show three times during the day which featured magic, trickery and knife juggling.
“We also had Aylesbury Vale Youth For Christ doing gift wrapping, so people could take their newly bought presents and get them wrapped there and then.
“They were also serving hot fruit punch and roast chestnuts.
“We also had two stilt walkers, one was dressed as the reindeer Rudolf and the other as one of Santa’s elves.
“Another highlight was The LuLaLas, who did Christmas hits from the 1930s and 40s which was wonderful.
“Members of Aylesbury Young Enterprise were selling photos in frames that they had taken themselves. They also had a selection of other Christmas gifts on offer.
“The group are learning how to market goods and set up a business and asked if they could come and join us on the day.
“The event used to be known as the Victorian Christmas Fair, but this year we decided to have more general Christmas entertainment.
“People from all communities came along and there was a sense of togetherness and laughter.”
