Long Marston put on a good show in their second Sunday fixture of the season with the visit of Bledlow Village.
Bledlow won the toss and decided to bat first.
They posted a good score of 188 all out in their 40 overs, Simon McLeman (3-47) and Pete Woodruff (3-45) being the pick of the Long Marston bowlers.
Special mention should also go to debutant Matt Shepherd who took three fantastic stumpings.
Long Marston made a bad start to the run chase as they lost three early wickets leaving the hosts at 22-3.
An excellent innings from the impressive Matt Shepherd (78 not out) and ably supported by James Beesley (59 not out) saw Marston along to what looked destined to be a great victory.
However, the rain came and the match was abandoned with Long Marston finishing on 151-3.
