A MAN has been punched in a town centre car park.
A 39-year-old man from Aylesbury was stood by his car in the car park in front of Argos in Junction Retail Park, Cambridge Street, at about 6.20pm on Thursday (March 15), when he was approached by a man who accused him of stealing the vehicle.
Despite the victim continually stating it was his own car, the other man carried on making allegations before throwing a punch at the victim, striking him on the shoulder. He also punched the rear of the victim’s vehicle.
A man known to the offender intervened, as did a member of the public. The victim was unharmed during the incident.
Investigating officer PC Manjit Bhangoo is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, especially the male member of the public who intervened, to come forward.
Contact PC Bhangoo via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
