Rivets squash club is holding a free “come and try squash” afternoon on Sunday.
The taster day runs from 3-5pm at the club, which is based on Whitehead Way.
Entry is free and all equipment will be supplied by the club.
Chairman Dave Wheeler said: “We are looking to revive the glory days of squash here in Aylesbury Vale.
“In the nineties, squash was really popular in this country and we had 300 members and a large waiting list.
“Now we are down to about 100 members and the average age of our membership is about mid-forties.
“We really do want more younger people because squash is a game that can be enjoyed by all ages.
“In my opinion, it is a great workout but at the same time it is a bit more leisurely than tennis.
“It costs just £2 each time you play and I think that is really good value for an evening.”
