Six imitation gold bracelets and two imitation gold earrings have been stolen from the bedroom of a Taylor Road property.
Thieves broke in by smashing a back window and ransacked the property until the homeowner returned and disturbed them.
It is believed they tried to get out through the living room window as the handle was broken.
The burglary was between 3pm and 3.45pm on Tuesday.
