Buckinghamshire’s Lord Lieutenant Sir Henry Aubrey Fletcher is thrilled to learn that the new royal baby has been safely delivered, and is looking forward to the day the new young prince will visit the county.
Sir Henry said: “I’m thrilled for the happy couple that they have a healthy baby. They will make wonderful parents, having seen them at royal visits with young children they are obviously very fond of them.
“And we will be delighted to see them back in Buckinghamshire when they have time, and their son as well.”
The Lord Lieutenant is the official representative of Her Majesty the Queen in Buckinghamshire.
