Police have apologised for wrongly saying a man is on bail in connection with an attack in which a woman was cut and punched.
Thames Valley Police initially said the man was arrested and bailed in connection with the attack on Kazzia Gouyer in the Coppice, Aylesbury, on March 21. Police now say the man was initially arrested for the park attack but then removed as a suspect.
He had, however, been arrested and bailed for a drugs offence and the police system thought he was being bailed for both incidents.
