The funeral of Margaret Patricia Cooper, the former secretary and director of Dayla and James Petit Company, takes place on Tuesday.
Mrs Cooper, known as Pat to her friends and as Oma to her family, lived in Wendover all her life, and was a past chairlady of Aylesbury Inner Wheel, Ladies Circle and more recently The Chilterns Probus Club for Ladies.
Mrs Cooper was instrumental in establishing Dayla.
Her father Joe Holland, a brewer and former mayor of Aylesbury, bought the business North and Randall Ltd in 1919.
Mrs Cooper married Richard (Dick) Cooper in 1948 and together with her sister Joan, the family worked unstintingly to establish Dayla as a major force in the drinks industry.
Mrs Cooper and her husband (pictured above) celebrated 65 years of marriage in January.
Her funeral will be at Amersham crematorium on Tuesday (May 28) at 11.30am.
