Haddenham-based field sales company Cosine attended the Florence Nightingale Hospice’s corporate companion breakfast morning to present staff with a cheque for £1,100.

Julie Blackburn from Cosine presented the cheque after FNHC was nominated as the company’s local Charity of the Year.

Julie, who spearheaded the campaign to put forward Florence Nightingale Hospice as her chosen charity, was thrilled to announce that after a company-wide vote via a ‘charity voting board’ – in which a number of local causes were nominated – FNHC was the overall winner.

Ruth Stainton, marketing and innovation manager and lead on Cosine’s charitable donations commented: “The team at Cosine were thrilled for the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity and for Julie, who has a personal reason for wanting to support the cause.

“Five years ago her mother was cared for at the hospice so Julie’s heart-felt plea for support helped to gain the support of her colleagues”.

Commenting on the donation and Charity of the Year nomination, Lindsey Fealey, FNHC’s director of income generation said: “We are delighted to have been nominated as the local charity of choice for Cosine, so a very big thank you to all the staff involved.

“We are very much looking forward to working with the team in the future.”
