THE family of Ben guest, the Thame stalwart who tragically passed away earlier this month, have issued a heartfelt thank you for the kind thoughts and words they have received since losing their son.
Terry and Marie Guest said: “To all the people of Thame and surrounding area, we would like to say thank you for all the lovely messages, cards and flowers we have received.
“It has been a great help to us both in getting through the last few days.
“We are so proud of our son Ben and we would like to pass our very kind regards to our new and many friends.”
More than 500 people attended the 35 year old’s funeral last Friday at St Mary’s Church as the town mourned one of its favourite sons.
A collection was held during the service for two of Ben’s favoured causes, Help for Heroes and Thame Fire Brigade and a total of £1,200 was raised.
Ben passed away after a seizure on Wednesday, January 11.
