Youngsters looking to get ahead in life will find it easier after an increase in traineeships, according to Thame’s MP.
John Howell, has welcomed the new programme which will provide 16 to 24 year olds with a package of support that will give them the skills and experience to compete in the labour market.
Mr Howell said: “This is great news for young people trying to get a foot on the work ladder.
“Government are making sure our young people have the skills they need to compete and succeed in work.
“560 started apprenticeships last year in this constituency. This traineeship programme will help more young people compete successfully and get jobs”.
