More than 100 parents and kids took part in the annual Santa stroll at St Mary’s School in Haddenham.
Wearing Santa hats and singing carols, the Christmas crocodile was welcomed with mince pies and coffee on arrival.
Jo Bevan, who works in the school office, said the walk was a great success.
“It created a nice jolly, festive mood with the music and the mince pies,” she said.
The walk is part of the school travel plan that encourages children to walk to school. There is a special walk every Wednesday and a golden wellie is awarded to the class with most walkers. The walks raise road safety awareness and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
