Edwardian emphasis at historic hill climb

Kop Hill Climb is gearing up for the best revival yet.

Now in its fourth year, the historic event is gearing up for a spectacular showpiece on September 22 and 23. Chevrolet UK will be the principal sponsor of the Princes Risborough event and their UK managing director Mark Terry said: “Chevrolet is a brand that’s all about everyday heroes, and the people that brought this famous event back into the public eye are very much that.”

This year sees an amazing array of veteran, vintage and classic cars and motorcycles ranging from 1904 to 1973 and some present day supercars to complete the mix.

The emphasis will be on Edwardian vehicles, that is those built from 1905 to 1918. To open Kop Hill, Countess Howe will flag off a 1913 GP Sunbeam driven by Nick Pellett. An enlarged display area for clubs will ensure there is something for everyone to see.
