Two best friends will be taking on a gruelling cycle challenge with a twist – taking on mountains on a tandem.
Adam Rossiter and Ben Howlett, both aged 31, are completing the challenge to raise funds for breast cancer charity Coppafeel after witnessing their friend suffer with the disease at just 26 years old.
Jenny Steele, of Thame, visited her GP twice after discovering a lump in her breast, only to be told it was nothing to be concerned about. But after reading an article about the boss of Coppafeel, Kris Hallenga, who was diagnosed at 23, Jenny was spurred on to get a referral, and after seeing a specialist she was finally diagnosed with cancer.
