Budding actors from across the Vale can audition for three separate shows next week.
The Vale Gilbert And Sullivan Society is looking for cast members for it’s next theatre production.
The group will perform Half A Sixpence, a story based on H G Wells’ novel Kipps: The Story of a Simple Soul.
The book tells the story of an orphan who inherits a fortune, but then loses everything.
Auditions takes place on Tuesday July 17 from 8pm at the Anthony Hall in Aston Clinton.
Jackie Farrow, chairman of the society, said: “Everyone interested in musical theatre will be warmly welcomed to get involved. We especially need male and female cast who can act ages 18-30.”

Meanwhile on Wednesday July 18, The Aylesbury-based Artfully Reliable Theatre Society (or TARTS) will be searching for potential stars for two shows.
The group will perform Rockatorio, a retelling of the Christmas story using modern music, in December.
They are also planning to stage a musical based on the music of Neil Diamond called Forever In Blue Jeans at the Court Theatre near Tring.
TARTS spokesman Nina Gregory said: “We delight in the opportunity to bring on new talent in all capacities, whether on stage or behind the scenes. We also welcome shows written by new composers.
“New members are always welcome, whatever your experience. If you fancy having fun with a great bunch of people while working towards the common goal of producing an entertaining show, TARTS is for you.”
Auditions for both shows get underway at 7.30pm in Aylesbury’s Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Thame Road South.
