ST ANDREWS Primary CofE school in Chinnor unveiled its new autistic unit last week.
Headteacher Wendy Heritage said: “We are absolutely delighted. It’s been a long time coming.”
The building has been named after former teacher Sheila Coates, who played a key role in teaching autistic students in the 1970s.
She passed away in 2010.
Wendy added: “The new unit looks and feels like part of the school.”
