A man was assaulted by two men who tried to steal his mobile phone in Aylesbury on Tuesday evening.
The 22-year-old man was walking down an alleyway between Whitehill Park and Palmer Avenue at 10.45pm when he was approached.
One of the attackers asked for the time and the other attempted to steal the victim’s phone when he checked his mobile.
The victim pulled away before the men pushed him over, kicked him and ran away.
The main attacker is described as mixed race, around 5ft 10ins and of average build. He was wearing a black top with the hood up. The other man is described as of similar height and build and also wearing a similar top.
Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the incident or people fitting the description of the men in the area.
