ON the streets and roads around Thame you will see many local residents in training for the annual CPM Thame 10km road race, organised by Thame Runners.
A keenly contested trophy is the cup for the fastest Thame Resident. Last year it was won by Jon Hiscox of Thame Runners just seconds ahead of George Anderson and Jack Hobbs.
George Anderson will be entering a number of his Boot Campers in the run and lead by example and the smart money may be on a young and upcoming Jack Hobbs.
Closing date for entries is June 19 or when entries reach 1000. The race takes place on Sunday June 24 at 9.30 am.
