After a fantastic performance in the men’s section, Foxhill’s women also performed well in the semi-finals of the Bucks County Indoor Bowls semi-finals.
In the singles, Linda Hewins (Foxhill) beat Doreen Hall (Slade) and Jean Williams (Handy Cross) beat Ruth Drage (Bletchley).
In the pairs, Teresa Newman and Sue Springell (Foxhill) had a walkover against Brenda Goss and Dorothy Parrott (Slade).
Donna Brooks and Ruth Drage (Bletchley) beat Carol Armitage and Barbara Rigden (Handy Cross).
The triples saw Donna Brooks, Barbara Redpath, Ruth Drage (Bletchley) beat Brenda Goss, Pat Costello and Dorothy Parrott (Slade).
Mavis Marcham, Barbara Rigden and Jean Reeman (Handy Cross) beat Teresa Newman, Wendy James and Sue Springell (Foxhill). There were no rinks semi-finals.
The rinks final is between Lyn East, June Lawrence, Sue Duncan and Beryl Coppin (Slade) and Carol Harding, Joan Beach, Lesley Throup and Beryl Walford (Foxhill).
