Chiquito is celebrating its first year in Hemel Hempstead with the launch of a new menu this month.
The Tex-Mex chain opened at Jarman Park during the turn of the year in 2014/15 and will now be launching their new offerings from Tuesday (February 9).
Known for their fun, vibrant eating experiences Chiquito also brought a number of jobs to the town.
One of the new menu’s exciting additions is a ‘Street Food’ offering.
A spokesman for Chiquito said: “Packed full of flavour, Chiquito has taken inspiration from the traditional and lively markets of Mexico to offer Spicy Chicken Crispy Tacos, Sweet Chorizo Croquettes with sweet Jalapeño Jelly and a Five Bean Tortilla Stack to mention just a few.
“These small plates are the perfect sharing option for you and your friends, a date or simply for when the one dish just isn’t enough.”
There will also be renewed focus on having skilled chefs getting hands on in the kitchen with a huge emphasis on daily preparation. Every day the chefs will be hand-pulling pork shoulders for their succulent pulled pork, freshly chopping vine tomatoes for their Pico De Gallo Salsa and hand cutting their Tortilla chips which are seasoned with Mexican Spices.
A new Hero Burger is set to be a highlight in this sizzling new menu. The ultimate toppings of slow-cooked pulled pork, sliced chorizo, red jalapenos and Monterey Jack Cheese has already found itself as a finalist in the National Burger Awards 2016.
