Staff at a call centre in Thame were part of the nationwide network of volunteers that answered the donation phones on Red Nose Day.
The staff from CPM in Aylesbury Road supported the cause on Friday, March 13 by taking calls from the public who donated during the live televised charity show between 6.30pm and midnight.
CPM’s managing director Karen Jackson said: “Colleagues from around the whole business gave up their time to support Red Nose Day.
“The money raised is spent by Comic Relief to transform the lives of millions of people, both at home in the UK and across Africa, and we are delighted to have been able to support this fantastic and worthwhile event.”
As well as staffing the phone lines, CPM volunteers threw themselves into a range of fund-raising activities, raising more than£2,500.
The firm has supported the cause for more than 15 years, and volunteers manned the phones in 2009, 2011 and 2013. The first ever Red Nose Day in 1988 raised £15m and to date, 13 Red Nose Days have raised more than £600m.
