Eighties’ pop star Sonia is to appear at Mango in Aylesbury later this month as part of her celebration of 25 years in the business.

Sonia heads up the night of 80s music on Saturday, May 17 with a limited number of VIP tickets available to fans who wish to meet the Scouse singer.

She will perform many of her 11 Top 30 hits including the number one debut single ‘You’ll Never Stop Me Loving You’, produced by the 80s hit factory Stock Aitken Waterman, which propelled her to stardom.

Owner Kyle Michael said: “I am delighted to host this intimate get-together with Sonia as she simply doesn’t usually play smaller venues like Mango and this is a great coup for us.

“Who doesn’t like a bit of 80s pop?

“She follows on from Nicki French hosting our Eurovision Night the week before so that’s two past UK entrants and top ten selling artists appearing in two weeks.

“I am absolutely thrilled.”

The performance at the Silver Street venue takes place just hours after Sonia appears at ‘Let’s Rock The Moor Festival’ in Marsh Meadow, Cookham to a sell out crowd of 6,500 alongside Kim Wilde, Nik Kershaw, ABC, T’Pau and many others.

Doors open at 8pm and tickets are available from just £6 online at www.mango.ticketsource.co.uk or from the venue itself with strictly limited places.
