Aylesbury Panelcraft have pledged to donate £5 to the Florence Nightingale Hospice for every entry made to a competition with a prize to drive a car for the weekend.
The accident repair centre, based on Rabans Lane, has teamed up with Aylesbury Nissan to help the hospice raise funds towards a makeover of the fixtures, fittings and furniture at the day hospice, based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
The appeal, launched by Sir David Jason OBE last November has now reached its halfway point, with £10,000 of the £20,000 target raised.
The competition allows customers of Aylesbury Panelcraft and Aylesbury Nissan the chance to win a two-day drive in a Nissan Qashqai car. Entries are open until midnight on Wednesday April 16.
Aylesbury Panelcraft’s business development manager Jez Warrant said: “Aylesbury Panelcraft has long been an admirer and supporter of the work of the Florence Nightingale Hospice, and that’s why in this very special 25th anniversary year, we wanted to show our support - specifically for the day hospice refurbishment appeal.
“We were delighted when Aylesbury Nissan said they would join us and offer such a fantastic prize.”
Florence Nightingale Hospice community fundraiser Teresa King said: “We are thrilled to be working with Aylesbury Panelcraft and would like to share our sincere thanks for choosing to support the hospice.”
