Johnny Cash’s eldest daughter has praised the man who has built a career as a tribute artist to the late legendary singer.
Clive John is coming to the Waterside Theatre on Friday March 21 with the Johnny Cash Roadshow.
Rosanne Cash has seen John and his band perform and said: “As a member of this family, the Cash family, I was in awe of how incredible the performances were. “
A singer songwriter in his own right, John has put his own work ‘in a box’ at the moment to concentrate on his tribute act to the legendary American singer.
Although John will perform one of his own songs in the show, the focus is firmly on country icon Cash, who also embraced rock and roll, blues and folk. The one-night performance starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost from £19.
