A fund has been launched to help flood victims in Bucks.
After some of the worst floods ever seen in the county, Buckinghamshire Community Foundation is appealing for contributions to a fund that will help people get back on their feet and also help local community groups restore their activities.
Richard Dickson, foundation director, said: “These floods have caused huge damage in the heart of Bucks and it will take many months, if not years, for several communities to recover.
“However, we know also that Buckinghamshire people are nothing if not resourceful and we’re sure that lots of people will want to give to help people who’ve been affected.”
To give to the fund, please send a cheque payable to Buckinghamshire Community Foundation to Foundation House, 119A Bicester Road, Aylesbury HP19 9BA {https://localgiving.com/charity/buckscommunityfoundation/project/buckinghamshire-flood-recovery-fund|or go online|link to Bucks Community Foundation}
