A man was threatened with a pair of pliers in his Aylesbury home after burglars forced their way in.
The two crooks, both male, threatened the 22 year old in Oak Green before taking two sets of keys to a car and leaving the property on foot.
The car was not stolen during the burglary and the victim was not injured.
The incident happened at about 8.25am on Friday (January 24).
Investigating officer, Det Con Glen Turner, said: “The offence occurred during the school drop-off period at Oak Green Primary School, which is near to the property that was burgled.”
The suspects were both of mixed-race and were wearing hooded tops with the hoods up.
