Plans to replace a former Wendover pub with homes have been thrown out.
Developers wanted to demolish The End Of The World pub and build three detached homes.
However, planners at Aylesbury Vale District Council have refused the application, saying it would be an ‘inappropriate and unsuitable’ development as it is outside the main built-up area of Wendover.
Planners also said the homes would damage the appearance of the area because it would have an ‘urbanising effect’.
