Have your say on the Sainsbury’s application

The Sainsbury’s Planning Application has now been received by Thame Town Council.

Due to the huge impact such an application could have on the town, a special full council meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 6, at 7.30pm.  This will enable all councillors to consider and vote on the application, rather than just the Planning and Environment Committee.

The recommendation will then go to South Oxfordshire District Council for the overall decision.

Don’t forget, members of the public have the right to speak at town council meetings.

If you would like to have your say at this meeting apply in writing to the clerk at Thame Town Hall, by fax 01844 216094 or email clerk@thametowncouncil.gov.uk no later than 5pm on Monday, March 5.

Paper copies of the Sainsbury’s plans are available for the public to view in the Information Centre at the town hall.

Please note that both the town council and members of the public have been given an extension until 19 March to return comments to SODC.
