A cosmetic surgery group from Princes Risborough has won a notable national award.
Aurora Clinics, based on Aylesbury Road, won the award for “Best Aesthetic Clinic” at the MyFace MyBody Awards at a ceremony held at the Lancaster Hotel, London.
The group were founded in 2001 by their clinical director Adrian Richards.
Mr Richards said the group were delighted to win the award.
He said: “We couldn’t be more thrilled to have won this award.
“It means so much because it was voted for by patients who have experienced our clinics first hand.
“It’s an honour to know that they appreciate what we are doing.”
Aurora Clinics offers a range of cosmetic surgery and non-surgical treatments including earlobe repairs, tummy tucks and breast enlargement.
Despite the recession, the company is still getting plenty of customers through its doors. Skin Clinic co-ordinator Caroline Pammant said: “The recession is not affecting us at all.
“My main role is overseeing the diaries of the nurses within the skin clinic and they are as busy as they ever have been.”
Ms Pammant added that the company never tried to force itself on people who did not wish to have plastic or cosmetic surgery.
She said: “Plastic surgery is a very personal choice and we aim to offer a service that is safe and convenient and suits people whatever their needs.”
