The man charged with murdering Mark Austin has had his plea hearing adjourned by two weeks
John Bass, 49, of Arundel Green, will appear at Reading Crown Court on September 26.
Mr Austin, 53, was seriously injured during an attack in the Harcourt Green area shortly before 1am on January 31.
He died from his injuries at Stoke Mandeville Hospital the next day.
