Quainton post office is set to reopen on Wednesday following a six month closure.
The service will be operated at The George and Dragon pub every Wednesday between 2-4pm by the Subpostmaster at Waddesdon.
The previous Quainton post office, which closed temporarily in March 2013 also operated from The George and Dragon.
The Post Office says the closure was due to circumstances beyond their control.
Post Office field change advisor, Rob Worley, said: “We understand how important having a Post Office branch is to residents in Quainton and we are confident that the hosted outreach service will meet the needs of the local community and secure services for the future.”
The Post Office, now independent of Royal Mail, is the largest retail network in the UK, with over 11,700 branches.
