A ‘bladed weapon’ may have been used on a man found with multiple injuries after a night out in Aylesbury.

The 23 year old was found in the Cambridge Street underpass between 2am and 3.15am on August 16, but police said he cannot remember if he was assaulted.

Police initially said the man only suffered a broken jaw and bruising to his face and body.

However, the man’s flatmate said he had a ‘four-inch stab wound’ to the right hand side of his body.

A police spokesman said: “It is not confirmed whether the victim was stabbed as he does not remember receiving any of the injuries.

“However hospital staff said the injury could have been caused by a bladed weapon.”

Before being found he had been in the Mirage nightclub in Buckingham Street.

Police have appealed for any witnesses who can shed light on the man’s injuries to come forward.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
