Dust off your dancing shoes and grab your best sparkly frock, the big band is returning to town.

After the fantastic success of Aylesbury Waterside theatre’s first ever Big Band Dance Night in May, the auditorium is set to be transformed once more .

On Monday September 16 Mike Smith returns with his orchestra and award-winning vocalist Matthew Ford.

The orchestra is one of the most versatile in the country capable of performing a wide range of music and styles to appeal to all ages.

And it has a reputation for quality as Mr Smith has hand picked every member.

The band is in good company with Mr Ford, who has performed with many orchestras and in front of domestic and international royalty.

Recently he appeared on BBC Radio 2 (Friday Night is Music Night) with West End Stars Lee Mead and John Barrowman. So dig out your dancing shoes as the Waterside auditorium is turned into a spectacular ballroom for one night only.

Whether you fancy a boogie with friends, or just want to sit back and listen to amazing shoe-stomping music courtesy of the 15-piece orchestra, it’s up to you.

The theatre’s bars will be open all evening, so drinks can be enjoyed in the auditorium or sitting up in the circle levels where the band can be seen from above.

Tickets are £14 and £18 and can be booked on 01296 745135.
