A woman who died in controversial circumstances has been named as Claudia Schiffer’s mother-in-law.
Kathy Ceaton, 66, mother of the German model’s film director and producer husband Matthew Vaughn, was found dead in her Thame home after suffering a suspected heart attack.
A family statement read: “Kathy Megan beloved mother of Matthew Vaughn and Pasha Saigol died on Sunday 21st July 2013, aged 66.
“Her intelligence, generosity, wit, loyalty and friendship will be missed by many.
“A memorial will be held in her honour later this year.”
But there was furore surrounding her death on July 21 after it emerged the driver of a silver Vauxhall Astra purposely blocked an ambulance in Oxford Road on its way to the emergency.
South Central Ambulance Service slammed the incident as ‘unacceptable’ but said it did not prevent other resources reaching the scene.
Police have identified the car and are searching for the motorist.
