Thame United continued their pre-season preparations with a deserved 3-1 win over higher league opposition North Greenford United.
United led at the break on Tuesday evening with goals from James Faulkner and Lynton Goss.
Ollie Lynch added a third before Greenford eventually pulled back a consolation.
Mark West’s side have endured a mixed pre-season and so it was in their previous encounter as they lost 3-2 to Aylesbury United in a topsy turvy encounter.
The Ducks grabbed the early initiative at Meadow View Park to go 2-0 up before United rallied with goals from Ben Connelly and Niall Hodgkins bringing them level.
But United switched off towards to the end and the Ducks took full advantage to grab a late winner.
Thame next host Beaconsfield FC on Tuesday.
