Students in the Vale are being given the opportunity to apply for four £2,000 scholarship to the new Bucks University Technical College.
The technical college, which opens in September, will specialise in construction and IT.
The money offered by the district council could help towards university fees or apprenticeship costs.
Deputy leader Michael Edmonds said: “In today’s current economic climate, it’s more important than ever to support the district’s young people so they can reach their full potential and secure a better future for themselves. One key way of doing this is through our scholarship scheme.”
