The arrival of flame-grilled peri-peri chicken restaurant Nando’s in Aylesbury is in danger of being delayed again.
The popular chain has not been given a date when it can start work on the proposed Exchange Street site, the former home of La Tasca.
As a result it has been unable to confirm when it will open and it is possible this may not be until after October.
Nando’s was originally due to open in June but the chain said ‘planning issues’ put this back by four months.
A spokeswoman for the restaurant said they would be able to confirm an opening date once they knew when they can get on site.
