Thame racing driver Jonny Kane demonstrated the Strakka Racing HPD at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last weekend.
Sadly, this was the last time that the car will be seen in public.
The team has withdrawn from the rest of the season’s World Endurance Championship.
New regulations for next year mean that the open top HPD will become obsolete and Strakka has taken the decision in order to be better prepared for 2014.
Jonny was one of many leading racing drivers who entertained the crowds at the popular Goodwood Festival.
Others included Stirling Moss, recent British Grand Prix winner Nico Rosbeg and former World Championships such as Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Nelson Piquet, Alain Prost and Emerson Fittipaldi.
