Opportunist burglars strike at Aylesbury home

Burglars stole a games console and accessories from a house in Archer Drive, off Bierton Road.

The burglars broke into the house via an open front window between 9pm on Wednesday and 2.40am this morning (Thursday).

They stole a Playstation 3 and accessories.

Aylesbury Town Neighbourhood Inspector Kelly Glister said: “This is the first dwelling burglary we have had in Aylesbury town in the last month. I would urge local residents to be security conscious during this spell of warm weather.

“Do not leave windows or doors open in your home if they are not in your sight. It only takes a moment for an opportunist thief to gain access and steal your property if you are busy in your garden or in another part of your house.”
