A report into high death rates at Bucks hospitals, including Stoke Mandeville, will be released later today.
NHS medical director Sir Bruce Keogh has investigated standards at the Bucks Healthcare NHS Trust and 13 others around the country.
His inquiry was launched earlier this year in the wake of the Stafford Hospital scandal.
It has been reported that the review will reveal around 13,000 people died needlessly in hospitals across England since 2005.
