The art installation beneath the arches of Long Lionel in Market Square will show local people talking about where they live, juxtaposed with images of their stories mapped into the existing architecture of the building.

It is being produced by Shared Space and Light, the team behind the amazing video projections at the Paralympic Flame Celebration in Aylesbury last year.

The new project, which will take place during autumn evenings, aims to promote the town centre night time economy and develop high quality public arts events in the town.

District councillor David Thompson, cabinet member for leisure, said: “I’m looking forward very much to seeing Shared Space and Light’s vision come to life in this ambitious project.

“I would encourage residents to have their say and be part of a landmark artwork.”

People who are interested in taking part in the project, entitled Home Sweet Home, are invited to attend informal filmed interviews at the Waterside Theatre on July 6. Questions will include:

> What do you feel about living in Aylesbury Vale?

> Have any funny/interesting/unusual things happened in your home?

> What is your relationship with the community?
