A Father’s Day event due to be held in Aylesbury’s Market Square has been cancelled.
The town council said it had called off the event because the weather forecast is for continuous rain on Sunday.
In a statement, the council said: “It is rare for the town council to cancel events but on this occasion we have made the decision so as to avoid disappointment on the day.
“We are sad to cancel the event, but we’ll be back on Sunday, July 7 in Kingsbury for Aylesbury On Sea.”
