The building is in place and in just a few months so will be budding ICT and construction students.
The pioneering Bucks University Technical College clearly fills principal Beverley Flanagan, 59, with excitement as she takes The Bucks Herald on a tour of the new building.
The technical college, one of 12 planned across the country for 14 to 19 year olds, will take a workmanlike approach with longer terms and school days lasting from 8.30am to 5pm.
The technical college will collaborate with a number of partners such as Cisco and Taylor Wimpey and students will do 50 days of work experience.
