Alex Novakovic, the seven-year-old Bedgrove pupil readers helped raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for, is doing ‘incredibly well’ during his cancer therapy in Boston, USA.
His family say he is showing no signs of sickness or getting tired while his spine and neck area is treated.
A message on his Facebook page said: “Because the length of the spine needs to be treated with protons, he’s having to spend more time in the treatment and recovery room in the mornings.
“But as soon as he leaves the hospital he’s full of ideas of how to spend the rest of the day.”
