Thame’s top monthly music event is set to return with a unique five-piece band.
Strings Attached are to be the headline act at the next First Thursday Music Club.
The group produce a fresh sound based around their piano, guitar and cello instrumentation, together with vocal harmonies.
They usually perform well known songs but in a way audiences are unlikely to have heard before.
At least another dozen acts will also be performing on the night, ranging from solo singer songwriters through to full on rock and roll bands.
The free event is on June 6 at the Stables at the James Figg pub, with anyone able to sign up on the night and play.
Host and organiser Phil Westerman said: “Round up some friends, get along and have a great night out.
“The club’s reputation is being continually enhanced. A number of the club’s regular acts have gone on and were featured at the recent Music in the Park event in Thame and even more impressively some will also feature at the Towersey Festival in August.”
Anyone can sign up to play from 7.45pm, with the music starting at 8.15pm.
